Registration is now open for the Summer Course “Nature Restoration: Challenges, Strategies, and Proposals for Action“, organized by IBADER (USC). The 25-hour course will be held at the “Casa da Costa” Visitor Reception Center of the Corrubedo and Lagoas de Carregal e Vixán Dune Complex Natural Park (Ribeira, A Coruña, Galicia), from July 7 to 10, 2025.

This Summer Course is based on the objectives and goals established by the European Biodiversity Strategy, the European Green Infrastructure Strategy, and the European Regulation on Ecological Restoration. The main regulatory and technical aspects of these strategies will be reviewed, and a series of case studies developed in Galicia will be presented to the public. These cases are excellent examples of restoration projects and initiatives that can be replicated on a large scale. Guided tours will be provided to facilitate student understanding of some of these projects.
