On June 7th in the town of Bigüezal in the ZEC Sierra de Leire and foz de Arbaiun a workshop was organized with local agents where the actions of the LIFE Global project in Navarra organized by OREKAN were explained to the interested groups through a field trip.

The overall objective of LIFE GLOBAL is the implementation of a transnational strategy between Spain and Portugal for the restoration of high conservation value Natura 2000 areas in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, as the main measure of adaptation to current global changes, improving the conservation status and resilience of priority habitats and species.
