LIFE GLOBAL as part of the ‘Biomass 360º in Navarra: From Forest Management and Fire Prevention to Industrial Consumption’ conference

Last Monday, October 20, OREKA presented the LIFE GLOBAL project as part of the ‘Biomass 360º in Navarre. From forest management and fire prevention to industrial consumption’ within the framework of Navarra Climate Week and the Interreg Sudoe BIO4RES project.

The participants visited the open areas of Monte de Limitaciones, a livestock landscape where humid heaths (with Anglican Genista) and pastures converge, both habitats of priority interest of high conservation value in the LIFE GLOBAL.

LIFE GLOBAL is a European project in which the Government of Navarra participates, through the public company OREKAN, Environmental Management of Navarra, which seeks the conservation and restoration of habitats and species of priority interest of high value, within the Natura 2000 Network, in the North of the Iberian Peninsula.
