The final conference for the LIFE Connect Ricotí project took place on July 1 and 2 at the Autonomous University of Madrid. There, the Biological Mission of Galicia (MBG-CSIC) presented its initiatives for the A Limia Special Protection Area (SPA), aimed at improving the habitat within the site. Plans include establishing land management agreements with communal land associations and sowing 10.5 hectares of legumes—crops of particular importance to the little bustard (Tetrax tetrax)—as well as managing 20 hectares through extensive cattle grazing to maintain open areas.
