The LIFE GLOBAL project held its fourth coordination meeting between 17 and 18 June 2026 at the headquarters of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia Maritime-Terrestrial National Park (Vigo, Spain).

The meeting made it possible to review the progress of the work carried out by the project during the first half of 2026. The preparatory actions have been completed, the dissemination work packages continue to progress, and the progress of the different conservation actions currently underway has been evaluated.

The meeting was complemented by a visit to the Cíes Islands, within the Atlantic Islands of Galicia Maritime-Terrestrial National Park, one of the habitat 1150* restoration sites in the Illas Cíes SAC, where the National Park staff explained to the other beneficiaries the main challenges of the actions being carried out in this territory.
